Private medical insurance. (PMI)
If you have private medical insurance this can be used to fund part of the treatment cost. Mr Radford will bill patients a fixed, inclusive fee at the start of care. PMI companies have delayed fee payment procedures that can take months and be difficult to track or claim. All insurers have sought to pay surgeons reduced fees over the last 5 years. Patients can find their policy confusing and they can contain exclusions despite years of contributions. You should be able to claim some or all of the cost of care back depending on your individual policy if you wish to have surgery with Mr Radford.
